Ho West Dce Hands Over Another Furniture To Ghana Education Service

In order to ensure quality education in the district, the Ho West District Chief Executive, Hon Ernest Victor Apau on Friday 4th December, 2020, presented Seven Hundred and Fifty (750) dual desks to the Education Directorate for distribution.

Speaking at the handing over ceremony at the forecourt of the Assembly, the Hon DCE stated that the production of the furniture was funded from the District Performance Assessment Tool (DPAT) to help mitigate the short fall off furniture in schools. He added that the Assembly through the vision of government is committed to better the performance and quality of students in the district.

The Hon DCE thanked staff for their commitment and hard work in ensuring the Assembly achieve its objectives by passing all the Assessment under his tenure. He urged all stakeholders to continue to work in unity to ensure development. He also took the opportunity to brief the media about development infrastructure in the district during inspection tours of some completed projects funded by the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF). The project includes the construction of District Fire Station, District NHIA Office and Business Resource Center under the Rural Enterprise Project.

Hon Apau indicated that as December 7th elections is approaching, citizens of Ho West should think about the district first no matter the political choice and vote peacefully to avoid violence before, during and after the election Receiving the furniture, the Deputy Director of Education, Mr. Nornudzor Kofi Hadzi expressed his profound gratitude for the donation. He assured that his out fit will distribute the furniture to the appropriate users and also ensure they are well maintained.
